Eliminate Cellulite

The 3 Best Cellulite Exercises

If you have cellulite then you know firsthand how hard it can be to get rid of it. Cellulite will cause specific areas of your skin to become lumpy. Gone is the smooth, sexy skin of your youth. But you can regain some of this smoothness if you try out some of the best cellulite exercises.

Why Is Exercise One of the Best Methods of Losing Cellulite?

The reason that exercise helps get rid of cellulite is because it will get rid of the fatty deposits that live under the skin. Exercise will also increase the blood flow to the surface of your skin to make it appear plumper and healthier. When you exercise you are also building muscle. Toning the underlying muscles and firming the skin through exercise will help to disguise cellulite.

Exercise #1: The first type of exercise on the list of best cellulite exercises is cardiovascular exercise. This can be your choice. You just need to find a good exercise that gets your heart rate up. It can be walking, swimming, cycling or kick boxing. When you get your heart rate up your body burns off excess fat. This will include the fat that is lying just beneath the surface of the skin and causing that dimpled appearance in your thighs, buttocks and stomach. It is important that you choose a cardiovascular exercise that you really enjoy. If you enjoy it, you will look forward to your workout instead of dreading it.

Exercise #2:  Exercises that target the problem areas are the best cellulite exercises. If you are like most women you will have a lot of cellulite in your thighs and buttocks. Squats are great for these problem areas. The proper way to do a squat is to stand with your feet hip width apart. Keep your abdomen pulled in tight, slowly bend your knees until you are in a squatting position. If you have trouble with this at first you can stand against a wall and use it for support. You should try to do two sets of ten squats each day.

Exercise #3:  Next, are the lunges. These are great for beating cellulite. Start in a standing position and step forward with your right foot. Now slowly bend your right knee until your right leg is at a 90 degree angle with the floor. Then raise back up and repeat this with your left leg. You should do two sets of ten lunges on each leg every day. Remember to keep your abs tight and to breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Once you have mastered these two cellulite exercises, you can challenge yourself by adding hand weights for additional strength training. The hand weights will help tone and build muscle and reduce the appearance of cellulite.

So there you have three great cellulite exercises that you can do right in the comfort of your own home. There is no need to buy special equipment and these exercises are not time consuming.
